The soap you use on your dishes matters.
Even if you have rinsed it away, residue can still be left behind, and your hands should not be soaking in organ-damaging toxins!
If most every dish soap on the market is junk for your body, what do you do?
Do you see your dish soap here? I do!
Oh, goodness. Names like “Pure and Clear,” “Green Works,” and the biggie “Next to Godliness” got me like whaaaa?
The food you eat sits on these dishes meaning your family ingests toxins if the dish soap has scary ingredients in it.
Thankfully, you have options!
Option 1: Trusted Source
My all-time favorite trusted source for all things non-toxic is Young Living.
Their Thieves Dish Soap is strong but safe. You’ll love it!
Option 2: My Favorite DIY
This recipe is fast to make, and it works so well that I love having the ingredients on hand for any time I run out of Thieves Dish Soap!
3 tsp. vegetable glycerine
5 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
10 drops Citrus Fresh Essential Oil
Mix together, put the lid on the jar, and enjoy!
Option 3: In-Store
A few top choices from EWG’s site that are safe are the following:
Like always, I cannot stand by these companies 100%. I don’t know if the day I post this I am writing about a version that is safe but the day you read this the formulation has been changed.
When it comes to in-store buying, I only go with Young Living because they are quite literally the only brand I know without a shadow of a doubt that I can fully trust.
How to Get Young Living Products
You’ll notice everywhere on my blog I mention these products because this is how we ditch-and-switched from toxins to a clean home the fastest.
It’s a great feeling.
Watching our boys drink from water bottles cleaned in toxin-free soap, eating their meals from dishes I know are truly clean, but I shudder at what I’ve put into our bodies over the years.
I hope this has helped you create toxin-free dishes stress free!
